The Uganda National Health Laboratory Services is the country’s central reference laboratory, responsible for ensuring quality diagnostics nationwide. In oncology, it houses the National Heme Path Flow Cytometry Laboratory, which is critical for diagnosing blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma. UNHLS provides advanced hematology, pathology, and molecular diagnostics while also supervising and accrediting regional labs.
