JCRC is one of Uganda’s most advanced laboratories, internationally recognized and CAP-accredited. It houses a Biosafety Level 3 (P3) lab, making it one of the most secure facilities in East Africa for handling infectious and high-risk samples. For oncology, it provides specialized diagnostic support such as immunology, hematology, flow cytometry, virology, and molecular testing (including HPV and hepatitis diagnostics relevant to cancer). JCRC combines clinical care, laboratory services, and research, supporting both patients and scientific studies.
