MNRH collaborates closely with the Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI), which is situated within the Mulago hospital complex. UCI is a specialized center dedicated to cancer treatment, research, and education, offering services such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgical oncology, and palliative care. In August 2023, MNRH introduced a new cancer treatment technique aimed at enhancing patient care. Additionally, the hospital's Obstetrics and Gynaecology department provides specialized services for gynecologic cancers, including cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancers
