St. Jude Global Alliance
United States
The St. Jude Global Alliance, launched in 2018 by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the United States, is a worldwide network of more than 200 institutions across over 70 countries working to improve access to quality care and survival rates for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Through regional programs, including in Sub-Saharan Africa, it focuses on building capacity in pediatric oncology by strengthening health systems, providing training and leadership development, and fostering collaborative research. Its key initiatives include a global palliative care program, efforts to expand access to essential cancer medicines free of charge in low- and middle-income countries, and the promotion of best practices in education, policy, and patient support. By uniting hospitals, researchers, and advocates, the alliance plays a vital role in advancing pediatric cancer care, survivorship, and awareness globally.
