The Palliative Care Association of Uganda (PCAU) is a national organization committed to improving access to quality palliative care for patients with life-limiting illnesses across Uganda. Established in 1999, PCAU works through advocacy, training, research, and capacity building to integrate palliative care into the country's healthcare system. It supports healthcare professionals and institutions in providing pain management, psychosocial support, and end-of-life care, ensuring patients receive compassionate and dignified treatment. With partnerships across the public and private sectors, PCAU continues to expand palliative care services nationwide, improving the quality of life for individuals and families facing serious illnesses
