Muheza Hospice Care, founded in 2002, works to improve the quality of life of people with life‑limiting diseases by providing palliative care (pain relief, symptom management), as well as psychosocial, social and spiritual care. They also mobilize village health workers and volunteers to support home‑based care and extend services out into district hospitals
