Partners In Health Rwanda, locally known as Inshuti Mu Buzima, is an NGO that began operating in Rwanda in 2005. It partners closely with the Rwandan government (Ministry of Health) to strengthen public health systems, especially in rural underserved districts (such as Burera, Kayonza, and Kirehe). Its work spans many health domains, including chronic diseases, infectious disease, maternal & child health, infrastructure, nutrition, mental health.A flagship facility is the Butaro Cancer Center of Excellence in the northern highlands (Butaro, Burera District), which acts as a national referral center for cancer care
