Ahavah Child Cancer Care Uganda
Kampala
Ahavah Child Cancer Care Uganda is a non-governmental organisation founded and run by parents of childhood cancer survivors, parents whose children are in active treatment, and those who’ve lost children to cancer. Their mission is to support and enrich the lives of families affected by childhood cancer through advocacy, education, and by working closely with clinical and research teams (especially at the Uganda Cancer Institute) to ensure families get the help they need. They offer psychosocial support (including play therapy), bereavement and sibling support, continuous education, and emotional support. Their core values are compassion, confidentiality, and commitment
