The Medical and Community Support Organisation Uganda (MACSO Uganda) is a community-based NGO located in Tedam Cell, Barapwo Ward, West Division, Lira City, Northern Uganda. Through its Christ Care Medical Centre in Lira, MACSO provides free cervical and other cancer screening, treatment for early lesions, home-based care, and referrals for advanced cases to specialised centres like the Uganda Cancer Institute. The organisation also works to dispel cultural myths about cancer, raise awareness in post-conflict communities, and offer economic empowerment support to families struggling with treatment costs, making cancer care more accessible and affordable for vulnerable populations.
