Canadian Partnership Against Cancer
Canada
The Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC) is a national cancer network funded by the Government of Canada that brings together cancer agencies, healthcare providers, researchers, Indigenous organizations, patients, and policymakers to improve cancer care and outcomes across the country. Established in 2007 and based in Toronto, Ontario, CPAC coordinates the implementation of the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control, a long-term plan to reduce cancer risk, enhance patient experience, and improve survival for all Canadians, including underserved populations. As a network, CPAC connects all provinces and territories, ensuring collaboration across jurisdictions and consistency in cancer care. It plays a critical role in supporting initiatives related to prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and palliative care, while also advancing equity, particularly for Indigenous peoples. CPAC also manages CanPath, Canada’s largest population health study, and supports national cancer data infrastructure to inform policy and practice.
