Network for Oncology Research in Africa (NORA)
Sub‑Saharan Africa
The Network for Oncology Research in Africa (NORA) is a collaborative initiative aimed at advancing cancer research, education, and clinical care across the African continent. NORA brings together researchers, healthcare professionals, and institutions from various African countries to address the unique challenges of oncology in Africa, including limited resources, late-stage diagnosis, and disparities in access to care. The network focuses on promoting high-quality, locally relevant cancer research, building capacity through training and knowledge exchange, and fostering partnerships that improve cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship in African populations. By strengthening collaboration across the continent, NORA seeks to generate evidence-based solutions tailored to Africa’s diverse healthcare settings, ultimately working to reduce the growing burden of cancer in the region.
