Hematology & Oncology Society of Uganda (HOSU)

HOSU is a professional network that brings together medical professionals in the fields of hematology (blood diseases) and oncology (cancer) across Uganda. Its members include oncologists, hematologists, cancer researchers, nurses, and allied health workers. The society promotes continuous medical education, the development and sharing of clinical guidelines, and the establishment of standards in cancer diagnosis and treatment. It also engages in policy advocacy and professional networking to strengthen Uganda’s cancer workforce. By fostering collaboration among professionals, HOSU enhances the overall quality of cancer care and supports research and knowledge exchange both locally and internationally
